To be considered for selection, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Live or work in Pasco County
Demonstrate a strong commitment and motivation to apply their leadership skills for the long-term benefit of Pasco County
Have the full support of the organization, corporation, or company they represent
Value and support community diversity
Show a willingness to participate in key volunteer and/or appointed leadership roles addressing important community issues
Be committed to playing a personal role in helping shape the future of Pasco County
All applications are subject to confirmation by the Leadership Pasco Board of Directors. Applicants not selected are encouraged to reapply in a future year.
Leadership Pasco sessions are held monthly from August through May and typically run as all-day sessions from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Sessions take place at various locations throughout Pasco County and surrounding areas

Each session is planned and coordinated by Leadership Pasco alumni volunteers. Leadership Pasco is supported by generous sponsorships from local businesses and organizations, whose financial and in-kind contributions are essential to the program’s success. Participants are encouraged to express appreciation to these supporters.
Attendance at the September two-day Bus Tour and January Team Building Sessions is mandatory.
Participants may miss no more than two days (16 hours) of scheduled sessions
Program planning, reservations, and logistics are based on full participation
Participants who miss more than 16 hours will not graduate with their class
Tuition is non-refundable

Class Project, Fundraising, and Alumni Event meetings are scheduled at the discretion of the class and may occur at the end of a session day or on an alternate date. It is the responsibility of class members to coordinate and actively participate to ensure the success of these initiatives.
100% attendance is strongly encouraged.
Program tuition is $2,500, payable by July 1.
Participants who have not submitted payment by July 1 may be asked to withdraw
Tuition includes course materials, the SIMSOC book, meals, select transportation, facilities, and speakers
Tuition may be tax deductible as a business expense; please consult your tax advisor
Program tuition is non-refundable
Tuition may be applied to enrollment in a future Leadership Pasco program
Tuition may be transferable to another participant, pending approval by the Recruiting Chair, Recruiting Committee, and Board of Directors
If a transfer is not approved, funds will be applied to a future program enrollment
Partial tuition scholarships may be available for participants representing nonprofit organizations. Scholarship needs should be indicated on the application.
Participants who receive a scholarship are asked to assume additional class responsibilities, such as serving as a historian, photographer, newsletter liaison, correspondent, or website liaison.
